FRECCLES
Friends of Eccles Station is a voluntary community group that promotes practical environmental enhancement works at Eccles Station, for the benefit of the community and train passengers. It encourages community involvement and ownership, raises awareness of the benefits of rail travel and campaigns for improved infrastructure, facilities and services for the benefit of passengers.

Eccles Community Hall Organisation (ECHO)
ECHO is a group of local volunteers who have refurbished the magnificent banqueting hall in Eccles Town Hall. These modern facilities are offered for concerts, meetings, lectures and art displays.

Eccles Sixth Form College
Eccles College is an incorporated further education college in Eccles which opened in 1973. The site continues to function now as the Eccles Centre of Salford City College.

Council services
Since 1974, Eccles has been part of the City of Salford, with the Council being responsible for services in this area. The Council and EPRA are in close liaison particularly with planning issues and the flora and fauna of the area including The Three Sisters nature reserve.
