Local History of Ellesmere Park
The articles listed below are a record of the 40 ‘Back in Time’ series of daily e-mails I sent to the members of the Residents’ Association at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. The aim of the articles was to help residents overcome the tedium of isolation through being required to stay at home. Many residents in Ellesmere Park are in the vulnerable category and needed to self-isolate. This series of daily articles gave those members a fascinating look back in time at Ellesmere Park and proved to be very popular.
